One Planet Sensor Network (OPSN) Onboarding and Dashboard Services
Sign up for our One Planet Sensor Network (OPSN) Onboarding and Dashboard Services and gain access to a comprehensive data dashboard that displays data from your deployed IoT sensors. This can include continual soil moisture and temperature data, barometric pressure data, humidity, air temperature, air quality readings such as levels of particulate matter and volatile organic compounds, and CO2 gas readings to monitor climate change. An example screenshot displaying this set of sensors is shown on the left.
Dashboard Formats

- Web-based graphical format
- Both formats deliver regular sensor readings, from every few seconds for a weather station sensor to every 3 or more hours for a soil moisture sensor. Example dashboard screenshots are available on the left of this page.
Pricing Breakdown

$3,600 Upfront Fee:
- Initial setup: Sensor deployment and connectivity to the OPEN OPSN network via a LoRaWAN Helium RAK gateway device.
- Dashboard construction: Design, construction, and support of both map and web-based graphical dashboards.
- Services included: Ongoing access to sensor data, data visualization systems, and data analysis tools, systems support and updates.

Annual Software Licenses and Ongoing Support:
- Annual Cost: $2,200
- Deployment and Ongoing Services Included:
- Sensor Deployment: Connectivity to the OPEN OPSN network via a LoRaWAN Helium RAK gateway device (must be purchased separately from the RAKwireless site).
- Ongoing Connectivity: Software and support services to keep sensor network and devices connected and continually relaying and storing data for customer access and utility.
- Dashboard Construction and Support: For up to 20 sensor variables, including environmental and weather station sensors.
- Example: 8 weather station sensors displayed in the PS5 screenshot on the left, plus 4 soil moisture and temperature sensors for a school garden.

Annual Software Licenses and Ongoing Support Details
- Annual Data Network and Dashboard Software Licenses includes the following:
- LoRaWAN Network Server (LNS): Our server software that performs device management, message routing, and integration with data dashboard application servers.
- Dashboard software: Ingests data packets from our backbone LNS network, decodes, calibrates, sets the reference values for the specific sensor data sets, and formats for dashboard and graphical viewing, and user and AI-ML analysis.
- Ongoing LNS Network & Dashboard Support: Systems management, maintenance, systems updates, troubleshooting.
RAK Helium LoRaWAN Gateway
- To use our sensor onboarding and OPSN data dashboard services, you'll need to acquire a LoRaWAN Helium IoT gateway to connect your sensor data to the network.
